‘¡Que Viva Cine Latino!’ outdoor film series returns to Las Americas Premium Outlets in September

San Ysidro, August 13 – This September, South Bay audiences will get to enjoy some of the latest and best Latino films under the stars at the annual outdoor Latino film showcase ¡Que Viva Cine Latino!. The series is being organized by the Media Arts Center San Diego, producer of the San Diego Latino Film Festival, and is presented by Las Americas Premium Outlets.

Movie lovers will enjoy innovative, critically acclaimed and inspiring Latino movies in a unique, outdoor setting. The event will take place every Wednesday in September (5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th) beginning at 6:30 pm with live entertainment and art exhibits at the Paseo del Arte corridor at Las Americas Premium Outlets, between the Old Navy and Coach stores.

The film selection will feature this year’s hilarious box office hit Overboard (Hombre al Agua)  (September 5th), starring Eugenio Derbez, and Anna Faris;  the crowd-pleasing family film El Jeremías (September 12th);  Dolores (September 19th), the poignant portrait of long-time activist Dolores Huerta; and Coco  (September 26th), the Pixar sensation and new animated classic celebrating Día de los Muertos.

All screenings are free and open to the public, with seating available on a first-come basis. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets and grab a snack at one of the many food locations throughout the center.
