Media Arts Center San Diego, producer of the San Diego Latino Film Festival (SDLFF) invites visionary designers from all over the world to be a part of the silver anniversary of SDLFF by submitting a poster design to consideration. Artists and designers are encouraged to produce a commemorative poster design that will represent the history and legacy of the SDLFF.

The deadline for submission is approaching soon, on November 3rd, 2017, and the winner will win $1,000 (USD)!

The winning design will receive national and international exposure, including but not limited to: the cover of the Official 25th anniversary Program book, print ads, TV commercials, social media posts, and web banners.

The winner will be selected by a jury of experts and will be announced at the Poster Unveiling Party on December 14th (location to be announced).

The San Diego Latino Film Festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary from March 15-25, 2018. SDLFF was born out of a desire to take a stand against the status-quo of cinema, to challenge the reigning and ever-present stereotypes about the Latino experience in movies, and to give Latino/a filmmakers the power of telling and sharing their stories, first-hand, about being Latino/a. The festival welcomes filmmakers, artists, and attendees from all over the world to celebrate Latino cinema, art and culture.
