Saturday, March 18, 10am-1:50pm – Fiction & Non-Fiction Pitch Meetings
Have a Latino themed project you feel is suitable for PBS; Latino Public Broadcasting’s (LPB) Digital Media Fund, Current Issues or Public Content Media Fund; or need feedback from funders and filmmakers? LPB is looking to fund Latino themed short films, both fiction and non-fiction, and/or long form documentaries. Come and pitch your idea to us! Screen a trailer and get feedback before submitting it anywhere.
Projects should explore the arts, history, science, biography, health, and more, from a Latino perspective and they can be long form documentaries for the Public Media Content Fund.
GET YOUR PROJECT ON PBS – PITCH SESSION. Don’t miss this excellent chance to have a personal 20-minute pitching session with LPB. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with award-winning filmmaker Carlos Avila (The Kill Floor); and Latino Public Broadcasting representatives Luis Ortiz (Managing Director) and Gloriana Paz (Program Coordinator). Read about current grant opportunities here – https://lpbp.org/public-media-content-fund-guidelines/.
