Introducing 32nd SDLFF Programming Team!
We are thrilled to announce our Film Programme Team, who will be selecting films for next SDLFF edition, set to take place 19-23 of March 2025!

Adriana Trujillo


Adriana Trujillo. Filmmaker, media programmer and curator from Tijuana-San Diego border region, focus on non fiction films and social impact projects. Her artistic practice includes the production and research in media with emphasis in hybrid forms of contemporary cinema, experimental video and found footage. She holds a M.A. in Creative Documentary at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She is the co-founder and artistic director of BorDocs Documentary Forum. Currently, she serves as the artistic director of Cinema Parallels in Republika Srpska.

Juan Lopez


Juan joined MACSD in 2013 and is part of the Video Production team which produces video content for a variety of clients, helping them create their vision from ideation to post-production. In addition, Juan is a shorts programmer for the San Diego Latino Film Festival, where he has programmed hundreds of films in his 10+ years at the festival.

Ivonne Ramirez


Ivonne was born and raised in San Diego and is a documentary filmmaker currently pursuing a PhD in Communication. With a passion for telling real-life stories through film, she explores the intersections of culture, identity, and social issues in her work. Outside of filmmaking, she can be found on the roller derby track, balancing creativity with athleticism in a fun and fast-paced sport!

Yakira Delgadillo


Yakira is a film programmer for the SDLFF-San Diego Latino Film Festival. Her passion and goal is to create spaces and strive for inclusion for underrepresented storytellers and communities in film and television. She’s participated in the San Diego International Film Festival, San Diego Asian Film Festival and Tucson Cine Mexico.

Luis Martinez


Luis Martinez is a filmmaker and podcaster originally from Medellin Colombia who grew up in Queens NY. His films “Slap Worthy”, “Alien Story”, “El Ladron de Bicicletas” and his short doc “Oscar’s Story” have been official selections of previous editions of the San Diego Latino film festival. He curated the  “Hay que reirse” comedy showcase as well as being an ambassador for the festival.
